Governing Authority
Dream Film Academy is governed by a duly appointed Board of Directors that provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the school. The Board operates in accordance with Georgia accreditation standards and ensures that the school fulfills its mission with integrity, excellence, and accountability.
Board Composition
The Board of Directors is composed of individuals with diverse professional backgrounds and expertise who are committed to educational excellence, youth development, and creative arts education. The Board includes the following officers and members:
- Chairperson
- Vice Chairperson
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Members-at-Large
The Head of School (Principal) and Vice Principal serve as executive leadership and report directly to the Board.

The Board of Directors is responsible for:
- Providing overall governance and strategic leadership
- Approving and reviewing school policies and procedures
- Ensuring fiscal oversight and financial accountability
- Supporting the mission, vision, and long-term sustainability of the school
- Ensuring compliance with state laws and accreditation requirements
- Upholding and enforcing policies related to professional ethics and conduct
The Board does not manage daily operations but works collaboratively with school leadership to support effective administration and program excellence.

The Board of Directors adopts, publishes, and enforces policies that ensure the observance of professional ethics throughout the organization. These policies apply to board members, administrators, faculty, staff, and volunteers and promote:

The Board regularly reviews these policies to ensure continued compliance with accreditation standards and best practices.

The Board of Directors meets quarterly and additionally as needed. Meetings may include:

- Accreditation and compliance updates
Board members may also serve on committees or special projects in support of school initiatives.

Vice Chairperson – John Elmore
A dynamic spiritual leader and community advocate, John Elmore supports governance operations while promoting holistic development and mentorship for students and families.
Treasurer – Trneice King
With extensive experience in nonprofit accounting and financial planning, Trneice King ensures that Dream Film Academy’s finances are handled with transparency, integrity, and long-term sustainability.
Secretary – Lorraine Rowland
A dedicated organizer and communicator, Lorraine Rowland is responsible for board records, meeting minutes, and administrative documentation that ensures accountability and clarity.
Member at Large – Palmer Williams Jr.
A nationally acclaimed actor and motivational speaker, Palmer Williams Jr. brings creative industry expertise and a strong commitment to student enrichment through the arts and storytelling.
Member at Large – Keyerin Coleman
An entrepreneur and leadership coach, Keyerin Coleman is passionate about innovation in education and helps connect Dream Film Academy with mentorship opportunities and real-world learning experiences.
